Here are a few examples of how your gift to Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center makes a difference in someone’s life:
$500 “fills the gap” for the family of an infant with hearing loss to receive information and home-based support from a Regional Infant Hearing Program outreach specialist for a full year—so that they may pursue all the dreams they have for their child’s future.
$250 “fills the gap” for a child and his family to participate in weekly 30-minute therapy sessions with a speech-language pathologist for three months—enough to make significant progress toward overcoming a speech-language difficulty.
$100 allows a woman who is deaf to receive two hours of one-on-one assistance—from a professional who can communicate with her directly—to succeed at work, manage personal budget issues, or apply for benefits to help make ends meet.
