In early May, Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center was excited to celebrate the groundbreaking of our new facility.
This new building has brought considerable excitement to everyone involved with CHSC and the University Circle community. We’re especially excited about the new possibilities created for us to bring state-of-the-art programs and services to our clients and patients. There is excitement also for the possibilities created for Case’s Department of Communication Sciences that will share the building with us.
Unquestionably, the new Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center, partly due to its unique exterior design—based upon a sound spectrogram—will become an iconic building for the fields of Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology and Deafness in the United States.
As the foundation of our new headquarters is being laid (they are presently drilling 31 caissons on which the structural steel will rest) so is the foundation of good communication skills for the people we serve with your help.
Whether we are providing services for infants who are deaf, children in neighboring Head Start sites, seniors who cannot afford hearing aids, or consumers who need our interpreting services, Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center helps provide a voice for all those who face communication challenges.
